THE SHORT STORY

1996
Freelanced 60-80 hours a week as a graphic designer making lots of money and wanting to take over the world.

Traveled through Europe. Realized that I needed to stop and smell the roses and that there was more to life than making money.

1997
Got married.

2000-02
Went to Art Center College of Design. Met Roland Young and Lou Danziger and learned that I knew nothing about communicating.

Interned at Caltech. Worked with David Kremmers, the Conceptual Artist at Caltech, developing ways of visualizing complex information.

Realized that I could use my skills in the scientific field.

Became a father to Spencer Lewis Goods.

Valedictorian and graduation speaker for Art Center College of Design.

2003
Hired as the “Visual Strategist” at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Created installations for JPL about finding planets around other stars, including one where I drilled a hole into a grain of sand.

2004
Became a father to Ellie Madeline Goods.

2006-
Became the father of Heather Leigh Goods. Our third.

Designed and collaborated on various installations around the world.

Given a silver “International Design Excellence Award” for the eCLOUD sculpture at the San Jose Airport.

Named “One of the Most Interesting People in LA” by the LAWeekly.

Built a studio of amazing creative’s at JPL.

Looking for opportunities to make a positive impact on people.
